A New Year Update ❤️
Hey everyone! I hope 2025 has been going well for you so far!!
My apologies for not been showing up as well the last little while. As I started to get behind on things over the last few months, overwhelm set in trying to get caught back up, and I put off things that should not have been. I have decided to shut the store down for the remainder of this week, until Saturday, January 15th at 12pm (noon) EST. During this time I will be doing some MUCH needed updates to the website (including the TAT spreadsheet), getting upcoming pre-orders (including LUMEN and Bee's Knees) ready, scheduling restocks, and ensuring that ALL previous emails and messages are caught up and answered.
I will try to answer new emails as they come in this week, however, if you do not hear from me right away, I will be sure to start to answer this week's messages on Monday (January 20th). I know myself and if I am in the middle of one task, switching to another causes a domino effect of jumping from one task to another, so I am going to make it a priority while the store is closed to block my time and focus on one task at time.
I have been re-evaluating what is working and what is not. Right now, there is a lot that is not working for me, and that has to change.
I’m much more of a listener than a talker, and it's especially not easy to share shortcomings. I don’t share as an excuse for how things have been running lately, but because I know deep down that I am not the only one that struggles at times with managing life and it’s okay to admit when changes are needed.
I am not one for making new year's resolutions, however, this year definitely deserves a fresh start. You all deserve open communication from us, to feel confident ordering with us, and our brands deserve to feel properly represented and supported by us.
Speaking of our amazing brands, until I have a better handle on managing the brands that we currently carry, we will not be adding any new brands. Once I feel like I am consistently keeping up with my workload, I will consider adding to our catalog and will create a post when we are ready for suggestions about new brands to offer.
